Ingredients

  1. 250 gmspotatoes
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1tomato
  4. 2medium sized onion
  5. 1 tspJeera/cumin seeds
  6. pinchHing
  7. 2-3Red chillies
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  9. 1 tspCoriander powder
  10. 1 tspKitchen king masala
  11. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  12. to tasteSalt according
  13. 1/2 tspKasuri methi
  14. as requiredCoriander leaves for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Soak potatoes in a bowl for 15 minutes.

    Don't peel thoroughly. Just take put black spots and damage skin from potatoes.

    Now crush potatoes In small pieces with the help of sil batta or use any heavy instrument to crush potatoes.

    Take iron kadhai and add 3 tsp mustard oil.

    Add jeera, hing, red dry chillies and saute for 30 seconds on low flame.

    Now add onion and saute till golden brown.

    Add ginger garlic paste

    Add kitchen king masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and fry for 1 minute.

    Now add finely chopped tomatoes and let it cook for 5 minutes.

    Add potatoes and saute.. Add garam masala and Kasoori methi at this stage.add 2 glasses of warm water and let this cook for 25 minutes after covering the lid tightly.

    Check if potatoes are finely cooked and gravy is not much thick not much thin.

    Serve with coriander leaves.It is best when cooked in iron vessel And combined with roti.
