A lovely treat on any given day for a delicious dessert. No one can resist it's tempting looks and taste as well. These can be made at home with ease. Few of the ingredients needed are to be handy. That's it. And they can be very well served with simple melted Cadbury Chocolate and some Powdered Sugar. Nothing much fancy needed or required to make them presentable. Use any coloured Sprinkles if available at home. Otherwise it's perfectly okay with just some Chocolate glaze. You can even use Cocoa powder ganache. Make them and enjoy with your loved ones and friends alike at mealtimes for a delightful dessert that's a fabulous idea and a favourite of many.

Cooking Instructions

25 minutes
  1. 1

Add sugar, Yeast and milk to a mug, cover it up and allow it to prove. Add eggs and butter to the flour and mix until a crumbly mixture is formed.

  2. 2

After about 5 minutes of waiting, add the flour and egg mix to the Yeast and milk mix little by little and keep mixing until done. Knead it until smooth and elastic. Cover it up with a cling film and keep it in a warm place to double up in size for nearly 2 hours or so.

After 2 hours, roll out an almost 1 cm thick circle and cut out medium sized small discs. You get almost 18-19 of them from the above given measurements. Cover them up and allow them to puff up during the second rise for about 30 minutes or so. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium to low heat only. Always remember not to fry them on a high heat.

  4. 4

Use Chocolate glaze or Powdered Sugar glaze on top of each of these doughnuts and dust in some powdered sugar before serving them to your lovely kiddos.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
