Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add sugar, Yeast and milk to a mug, cover it up and allow it to prove. Add eggs and butter to the flour and mix until a crumbly mixture is formed.
- 2
After about 5 minutes of waiting, add the flour and egg mix to the Yeast and milk mix little by little and keep mixing until done. Knead it until smooth and elastic. Cover it up with a cling film and keep it in a warm place to double up in size for nearly 2 hours or so.
- 3
After 2 hours, roll out an almost 1 cm thick circle and cut out medium sized small discs. You get almost 18-19 of them from the above given measurements. Cover them up and allow them to puff up during the second rise for about 30 minutes or so. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium to low heat only. Always remember not to fry them on a high heat.

Use Chocolate glaze or Powdered Sugar glaze on top of each of these doughnuts and dust in some powdered sugar before serving them to your lovely kiddos.

Baked Doughnuts Baked Doughnuts
These are simply so good and just as delicious as fried doughnuts. This is a keeper for all your doughnut cravings and they go well with pretty much any toppings or stuffings. They do take a while to make as they are yeast doughnuts but they are more than worth it.If using active dry yeast, add to the wet ingredients and let sit for about 10 minutes before adding to the dry ingredients. Also, I made these in the evening so excuse me for the bad camera quality. My Version of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts My Version of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
I tried many different combinations to make these and finally arrived at these Krispy Kreme-style doughnuts.Shaping them takes practice! At first I tried over and over to make them. They will be slightly wonky, but that is proof that they are homemade!Of course you can use butter or shortening instead of margarine. If you use unsalted butter or shortening, increase the salt to 4g.In step 3, I used a small amount of flour. Hint of Cinnamon Baked Sugar Doughnuts Hint of Cinnamon Baked Sugar Doughnuts
I do not like doughnuts.I just wanted to put that out there right off the bat. In no way do I like doughnuts. They do nothing for me. To me, they are greasy and very heavy. That is, until I tried Apple Cider Doughnuts and doughnuts from Doughnut Plant on West 23rd Street in the New York City. The doughnuts there are a work of art. I highly recommend them.Recently, someone suggested to me that I should try baked doughnuts. Supposedly, they are not greasy and heavy, since they are not fried. As usual, I picked and chose ingredients from different recipes to make them the way that I like them, since I am so picky. My wonderful & beautiful wife and I bought some doughnut pans and came up with this recipe. At first, I was skeptical if I would like them, but I really do like them. They are so good.As my wife suggested, this recipe is a great starting point. We can use this as our basis and go from there. I hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.These doughnuts make a dozen 4 inch doughnuts.Enjoy! J.A.B. -

Easy Fluffy Donuts (1x proofing) and How to store them Easy Fluffy Donuts (1x proofing) and How to store them
#mycookbookMy children love their mom's homemade donuts and when they want to eat them, they want them right away. That's why I created this recipe. It's quick, simple and the donuts are light and fluffy. The best thing is they freeze really well. When my children want donuts, I just take some out and directly put the frozen donuts in an air fryer for a few minutes. The taste is as good as the fresh one. Pawon Indo Bule -
