In our native we prepare this kozhukattai with New Red Rice. The speciality of this kozhukattai is we young girls gather together to prepare this at midnight in a house where there is no men. We prepare this kozhukattais in God shape dolls , lamps and all the kitchen hold items like ammi, Ural, pans, pots, ladle etc. Then we pray God with the prepared kozhukattais and the older ones tell stories about the God. After all the customs finished we have to eat the kozhukattais before morning because men are not supposed to see the kozhukattais😀
