Ingredients

  1. 1 litremilk
  2. 2 tsplemon juice
  3. 2 tspwater
  4. 2 tspcorn flour or maida
  5. Few threads kesar
  6. Little bit yellow food colur
  7. 1 cupsugar
  8. 2 cupswater
  9. 2 tspchopped pistachio

Cooking Instructions

    First, take a heavy bottom pan add milk and boil it on high flame. When it comes boiling turn the flame low. Take a small bowl add lemon juice and 2 tsp water mix it and add into boiling milk.mix it.and give a boil. When it becomes curdle then turn off the flame and strain the milk.wash with water very well and squeeze then put into muslin clothes and hang it for half-hour to remove the excess water. The homemade paneer is ready for chena.

    Now take the paneer in a thank or your kitchen counter. Mash it for 6-8 minutes with your palm very well to make it smooth. Then add 2tsp cornflour or maida then mix and mash again for 2 minutes and take 1/4 part from it and add yellow food colour.

    Now take a lemon size part from the white portion and make balls from it. Then take a small part from the yellow Part and make little balls from it. Now take one white ball and press it your fingers to make a gap in the middle the put the yellow Part in the middle and cover from all sides. Then press lightly and gave an oval shape.prepare all rolls like this and keep aside.

    In a pan add sugar and water and boil it when the sugar melt in water then turn the flame medium add kesar threads and cook it for 4-5 minutes.

    Now add prepare chhena rolls in the boiling syrup cover and boil it on high flame for 5-6 minutes. Then it rises in size. Take out from the syrup arrange in a bowl. Decorate with pistachio and kesar threads.
