Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupWheat flour
  2. 1/2 gram flour
  3. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspRed Chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tspCarom seeds
  6. 1/2 tspAmchur( dry mango) powder
  7. 1 tspKasuri Methi
  8. 1/2 tspGinger garlic paste
  9. 1/2Onion finely chopped
  10. 2 tbspCoriander finely chopped
  11. 1/2 tspSalt
  12. as neededWater for kneading
  13. 1 tspGhee

Cooking Instructions

    In a large mixing bowl take  wheat flour and besan.

    Also add turmeric, ajwain, chilli powder and amchur powder.

    Add kasuri methi and ginger garlic paste.

  4. 4

    Finally add chopped onion, coriander and salt.

  5. 5

    Mix well so the spices are combined well.

    Add water as needed and knead the dough.

  7. 7

    Now make a medium sized ball from dough, roll out and flatten it.

  8. 8

    Now on a hot tawa, place the rolled roti and cook for a minute.

    When one side is partly cooked, flip and cook the other side with brushing ghee.

  10. 10

    Flip again till both the sides are cooked properly.

  11. 11

    Serve missi roti with dollop of butter and pickle.
