Ingredients

50 minutes
3 servings
  1. 500 gmchicken on bone, curry cut,
  2. For Marination.. .
  3. 1 tsp salt,
  4. 1 tsp black pepper powder,
  5. 2 tsp lemon juice,
  6. 2med sized potato, diced,
  7. 3 tbspoil,
  8. 1med sized onion chopped finely,
  9. 3green chilli chopped finely,
  10. 4dry red chilli cut into small pcs,
  11. 6basil leaves,
  12. 1 tspgarlic paste,
  13. 1/2 tspginger paste,
  14. 1/2 tsphaldi powder,
  15. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder,
  16. 2med tomato diced,
  17. as per taste Salt
  18. 1 cupcoconut milk,
  19. as required Some chopped dhania patta,

Cooking Instructions

50 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a mixing bowl, add chicken & all the given ingredients of marination. Mix it well. Cover it with the lid, keep aside for 1/2 hour.

    Take a wok or deep bottom pan, add oil, heat it. Add onion, stir fry it till pink.

  3. 3

    In goes both the chillies, stir it for a sec. Add in basil leaves, give a stir.

  4. 4

    Now add ginger garlic paste, stir fry it until rawness is released.

  5. 5

    Add in chicken, stir fry it for a minute. In goes aloo, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Now add haldi & garam masala powder, stir fry it for a minute.

  7. 7

    Add in tomato & salt, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

  8. 8

    Now add coconut milk, mix it well. Give a boil. Add some dhania patta, give a stir.

  9. 9

    Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until chicken & aloo is almost cooked. You can keep gravy saucy or whatever you like.

    Turn off the flame, open the lid after 5 minutes.

  11. 11

    Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.

    Can be served along with Rice..
