  1. For Sarson ka Saag
  2. 500 gmSarson (mustard) leaves
  3. 200 gmspinach
  4. 1/4 cupmethi leaves(optional)
  5. 1onion chopped
  6. 2green chillies
  7. 2 tbspgarlic chopped
  8. 1 tspginger chopped
  9. 2 tbspmaki ka aata
  10. 2-3whole red chilli
  11. 1 tspred chilli powder
  12. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  13. 2 tbspbutter or oil
  14. For maki ki Roti
  15. 3 cupmaki ka aata
  16. 1 cupall-purpose flour or wheat flour
  17. as per taste Salt
  18. as per tasteWarm water
  19. as requiredGhee or butter

Cooking Instructions

    Wash Sarson, spinach and methi
    At least three times.

  2. 2

    Roughly Chop all leaves.

  3. 3

    Put them in cooker add one cup water. cover and cook till one whistle.

  4. 4

    Remove from fire.let it cool.

  5. 5

    Coarsely grind them. keep aside.

  6. 6

    Heat ghee or oil in pan add garlic. cook till pink in colour.

  7. 7

    Make paste of ginger and green chillies. add in garlic.cook

  8. 8

    Now add onion and whole red chilli. Cook till onion is soft.

  9. 9

    Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt mix.

  10. 10

    Add Sarson and spinach mixture. Mix and cook for two mnts.

    Add maki ka aata.mix

  12. 12

    For maki ki roti.

    Take one big bowl.

    Add maki ka aata, wheat flour and salt. Make dough by adding water.

  14. 14

    Take small portion of dough roll out roti.

  15. 15

    Heat griddle on medium heat put roti and cook on both side.

  16. 16

    Remove apply butter on roti.

  17. 17

    Serve hot with Saag.
