Golpapdi is very popular sweet from Gujarat. This is a healthy sweet made with only a few ingredients in a very less time too. We can find this sweet in almost every Gujarati family, anytime.
Wheat flour & Jaggery are its key ingredients which make it healthy.

Golpapdi is very popular sweet from Gujarat. This is a healthy sweet made with only a few ingredients in a very less time too. We can find this sweet in almost every Gujarati family, anytime.

Cooking Instructions

Heat ghee and saute the wheat flour till it becomes pink and you feel its aroma. Grate jaggery and keep it aside.

Once flour is sautéed properly & becomes light, turn off the flame, add jaggery and mix properly.

Transfer it in a plate or thali and spread it evenly. Flatten it with a spatula or a flat bottom bowl.Once it cools down little, cut into pieces with the help of a knife or a cutter.

After it cools completely, take out the pieces and store it in air tight container.
Note:
1. Can sprinkle fennel seeds & sliced almonds after spreading it.
