5 Minute Soup! Bacon and Lettuce Consommé

I made this to use up some lettuce. The simple taste of bacon gives this soup a deep and rich broth.
I just wrote down estimates of the ingredients, so please use as much bacon and lettuce as you want!
If the flavor is too thick, you can adjust with salt and pepper. For 2 servings. Recipe by Kazapi-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
While the water is heating up in the pot, prepare the ingredients. Tear the lettuce into large bite-sized pieces. Cut the bacon into 3mm wide slices. If using consomme cubes, use a knife to chop up into pieces that will dissolve easily.
- 2
Once the water comes to a boil, add the consomme. Next add the bacon and then the lettuce in order. When it comes to a boil again, stop the heat and add the Parmesan cheese.
- 3
Serve the soup in a dish and optionally garnish with parsley or green onion.

Easy Consomme Soup with Crunchy Lettuce Easy Consomme Soup with Crunchy Lettuce
I love the texture of fresh lettuce, so wanted to try using it in a soup.Turning off the heat before adding the lettuce ensures that it maintains its crunchy texture. This is great with soy sauce or grated cheese added. I've heard from other users that have tried adding extra ingredients, such as enoki mushrooms, corn, tofu and eggs. The recipe isn't difficult or time-consuming and I prepare this whenever I'm hungry.I posted this because the crispy texture of pan-fried bacon goes very well with the soup.Lentil soup is common in India, but adding bacon was my own idea.・I recommend to thicken the soup. The consistency should be when the soup easily slips off the spoon. Adjust in Step 8 with water.・As the spices are mild, it can be enjoyed by anyone.・A healthy soup with lots of lentils and a little oil. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -
Steamed Cabbage, Onion, and Bacon in Consommé Steamed Cabbage, Onion, and Bacon in Consommé
It's a quick and easy dish you need when you don't feel like cooking, when you need one more side dish, or when you don't have time.I don't need a cutting board or a knife since I tear up the cabbage and bacon. We don't have a microwave, but if you use the microwave for the whole recipe, the only thing you need to wash might be a plate. You just need to cut the ingredients and put in a pot.It will be more delicious when you add an onion. I sautéed the onion first, and it made the dish taste much better. If you don't want to prepare the onion, I recommend using corn instead. Recipe by Kimaramutaki cookpad.japan -

I was selected to become a product tester for a brand of vegetable juice that contains 20 vegetables. I used three of those - celery, carrot and mitsuba - to make the celery soup that we've been enjoying in our house for about 15 years.Use 1 large or 2 small soup stock cubes.Don't cook the soup for too long after adding the celery, in order to fully enjoy its flavor. You could use the celery leaves instead of the mitsuba. Chinese-style Sesame Soup with Bacon and Lettuce Chinese-style Sesame Soup with Bacon and Lettuce
A perfect soup for sesame-lovers like me. If you have the ingredients at home, you can make it in no time! After you add the lettuce and the soup comes to a boil, make sure to add the egg efficiently. Enjoy the crunchy texture of lettuce!Make sure it's seasoned quite well in Step 3, since the flavor is diluted when the lettuce and egg are added. Recipe by rie-tin cookpad.japan -
