Gobindo Bhog Rice is one of a variety of Rice which is of short grain and mostly used for in the preparation of Khichdi and Payesh ( Rice Pudding )
So prepared Khichdi from Gobindo Bhog Rice.
It is Chana Dal Kabuli Soya Khichdi.
Presenting a trio combination Khichdi which consists of Chana Dal, Kabuli Chole and Soya Nuggets / Chunks along with Gobindo Bhog Rice.

Presenting a trio combination Khichdi which consists of Chana Dal, Kabuli Chole and Soya Nuggets / Chunks along with Gobindo Bhog Rice.
Cooking Instructions

Assemble ingredients, soak Gobindo Bhog rice for 30 - 40 minutes.

Soak Chana Dal + Kabuli Chole overnight.

Boil soya chunks and squeeze water, marinade soya chunks with salt + red chilli powder + garam masala powder and marinade for around 20 minutes.

In a deep pan out Dal + Rice to boil in sufficient water by adding salt + 1 tsp grated ginger + turmeric powder + green chilli. Let Dal and Rice cook properly. Add sugar in this stage.

In moderately heated pan / kadhai add oil, add all whole spices and allow to crackle, then add remaining grated ginger and sauté for few seconds.

Then add marinaded soya chunks and sauté for 3-4 minutes under low to medium heat.

Now pour the tempering along with soya chunks to Dal and Rice Mixture.
Stir well. Cook for 4-5 minutes. - 8
Add warm water as per desired consistency and check for salt.
Lastly add ghee and stir well, keep in stand by mode for 3-4 minutes and dish is done. - 9
Serve hot hot with some fries.
Have served with Brinjal Fry, Colourful Fryums and plain Curd.
