Cooking Instructions

Collect all the ingredients. Rinse the paan leaves thoroughly with water. Remove the stem and cut into two pieces lengthwise. Keep one half over the other.

First, spread a thin layer of soaked slaked lime. Over it, sprinkle katha powder and cover the slaked lime. Chop the dry dates into small pieces. I have added fennel seed, green cardamom, gulkand and chopped dry dates.

Fold each set in a triangular manner and seal it with Clove. Khili paan is ready to serve.
