Ingredients

30-35 minutes
5-6 servings
  1. 7tomato, chopped (Tomato puree)
  2. 3 tbspbutter
  3. 1 inchcinnamon
  4. 1bay leaf / tej patta
  5. 1 inchginger, finely chopped
  6. 2green chilli, slit
  7. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder / lal mirch powder
  8. 1 cupmilk / water
  9. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  10. salt to taste
  11. 2-3 tbspcashew paste.
  12. 250 Gramspanner cubes / cottage cheese 🧀
  13. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  14. 1/2 tspkasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves, crushed
  15. 1-2 tbspmalai (cream)
  16. 2 tspcurd
  17. 1/2 tspcumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

30-35 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly heat kadai with 3 tbsp butter.
    saute in ½ tsp jeera, 1 inch cinnamon and 1 bay leaf till they turn aromatic.
    additionally add 1 inch ginger and green chilli. saute well.

    Further add tomato puree and cook till oil releases from sides.

    Further add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder,and ½ tsp salt.
    saute on low flame for a minute or till spices get cooked well.

    Keeping the flame on low add cashew paste, curd and 1 cup of milk stirring continuously.
    additionally add cubes panner.

    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or till panner gets cooked well completely.
    further add ¼ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp crushed kasuri methi. mix well.

    Finally, serve paneer butter masala with roti, chapati, Naan and kulcha...
