Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlmoong dal
  2. 2 bowl cut shepu
  3. 2red chili
  4. 3 teaspoonoil
  5. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  6. 1 pinchasafoetida
  7. 3 teaspoonsalt
  8. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder

Cooking Instructions

    Wash moong dal and soak for 20 minutes. Wash shepu 2-3 times and remove extra water.

    Now in a kadai add oil,once heated add mustard seeds and let it crackle. Then add asafoetida and red chilli.

    Next add soaked moong dal and allow it to cook a while.

    Now add shepu and mix well and allow it to cook. Keep a plate on kadai and add water on the plate and on that steam, on low flame let it cook properly. Serve once prepared.
