Ingredients

50 min
4 people
  1. 1 cupDates(remove seeds)
  2. 8-9Cashew nut (cut into small pieces)
  3. 1/2 cupWater
  4. 3 tbspDesi ghee
  5. For slurry -
  6. 1 tsp Corn flour+1/4 cup water
  7. 1/4 tspCinnamon powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak dates in water for 20 min.Then grind it into a smooth paste using a mixer jar.

    Heat ghee in a karahi,add cashew nut pieces and fry.Keep it aside.

    Now in the same ghee,add dates paste and fry.Cook it for 5-6 min or till the mixture becomes thick.Add corn flour slurry and cook for another 4-5 min

    Add cashew nut and cinnamon powder.Mix it well.Cook it till the mixture becomes glossy and thick.Switch off the gas stove.

    Grease a plate and transfer this mixture on the greased plate.Level it evenly with the help of a spatula.Leave it for half an hour and then cut it into square pieces.Enjoy these healthy toffees!
