  11. 100 gDark Chocolate Chips
  12. 100 gWalnuts (slightly roasted and finely chopped)

    Assemble the required ingredients:
    Measure the ingredients ie. sugar, flours, oats. Powder the sugar. Roast and chop the walnuts.

    Cream Butter and Sugar:
    In a mixing bowl, add butter. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until creamy.

    Add Wet Ingredients:
    Add the egg and vanilla essence, and beat until well combined.

    Incorporate Dry Ingredients:
    Sift self-raising flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture gently.

    Add Maize Flour and Oats:
    Sift maize flour and fold in, followed by oats. Mix well.

    Mix in Walnuts and Chocolate Chips:
    Add roasted walnuts and chocolate chips, and mix until evenly distributed.

    Refrigerate the Dough:
    Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

    Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes.
