Ingredients

10 minutes
2 serves
  1. 1 bowlleftover roti mixture
  2. 1 bowlpoha/puffed rice
  3. 1Onion
  4. 1Tomato
  5. 2Green chillies
  6. 2 tbspfreshly chopped coriander
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tspchilli powder
  10. 1 tspSugar
  11. 1 tbsplemon juice
  12. 1 tbspoil
  13. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  14. 1/2 tbspAsafoetida

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Crush the rotis in a very small pieces. Finely chop onion,tomato, chillies and coriander. Make other ingredients ready.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add Cumin seeds and Asafoetida to crackle. Add onion and chilli and saute for a minute then add poha and mix in the tadka.

    Now add crushed roti, along with salt, chilli, Turmeric powder and sugar. Mix well.now add chopped coriander, tomato and lemon juice. Mix till everything merge well. The roti chevda is ready, switch off the flame.

    Transfer the mixture in serving dish.serve immediately with a cup of Masala tea. Enjoy..
