On any special day or on nav varsh we definitely make sweet dishes especially "Aate Ka Sheera" and offer to God 🙏
Atta Sheera/Halwa!! Who could resist a spoonful of this? It’s perfectly sweet, smooth, rich and melt-in-mouth made with just 4 Ingredients (plus, water and garnish).
Atta is made from wheat hence this is called wheat halwa. Here in Gujarati it is called ‘Gau no sheero’.

Ingredients

20 minutes
For Prasad
  1. 1 bowlwheat flour
  2. 1/4 bowlghee
  3. 4-5 tbspsugar
  4. 1.5 Bowlwater
  5. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  6. 2 tbspalmond cashew chunks

Cooking Instructions

    Make ingredients ready.

    Add ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add wheat flour and roast until light and fluffy. Now add almond and cashew chunks and roast for a minute so nut can roast in flour.

    Now add water and stir quickly so as not to form lumps. Stir till all water evaporates. Then add sugar and mix continuously till Sugar dissolves and ghee starts releasing from the sheera.

    Lastly add cardamom powder,mix well and switch off the gas. Yummy prasad Sheera/ Halwa is done.

    Remove it in the dish. Offer to god along with a glass of water as prasad and seek blessing from god to keep family happy and healthy 🙏. After that distribute the prasad in the family.
