Ingredients

  1. 500 gramRaw mango (rajapuri)
  2. 2 tablespoonsoil
  3. 1/2 teaspoondry fenugreek seeds
  4. 2dry red chili
  5. 2 pinchasafoetida
  6. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  7. 1 teaspoonsalt (as needed)
  8. 1 cupjaggery
  9. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and peel the mango very well. And grate it using a bigger size grater.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan. Add fenugreek seeds, dry red chilli and asafoetida. Let them crackle. Keep the flame on slow to medium.

    Now add grated raw mango. Add salt and turmeric. Mix it well. Let them saute for 3- 4 minutes or until raw mango soften.

    When it soften add jaggery and mix it well. Now cover with lid and cook for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.

    When the mixture becomes thickens, off the gas flame. Add red chilli powder,mix well and allow to cool down completely.

    Store keri no chundo or raw mango Instant chunda in clean and dry glass jar. Enjoy with roti,parathas or thepla.
