I made a cake from the app but didn't have the suggested frosting ingredients on hand. Of coarse I realize it after the cake is in the oven. So using what I had, I made this to compliment the cakes ingredients . It turned out great. Hope you like it, it really is so easy!

Ingredients

  1. ganache
  2. 1/2 cuphalf and half
  3. 12 ozHershey special dark chocolate chips
  4. 2 tspespresso powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a microwave safe cup, heat half and half in microwave for 90 seconds.

  2. 2

    Add in espresso powder and stir.

  3. 3

    Add chips and let sit for 2 minutes to melt chocolate. Then whisk smooth.

  4. 4

    Let ganache sit and thicken for 15 minutes before topping a cake.
