Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspghee
  2. 1/4 cupvermicelli (sevaiyan)
  3. 3 cups milk
  4. 1/2 cupsugar
  5. 2 tbsp raisins (kismish)
  6. 1 tspchirongi nuts (charoli)
  7. 1/4 cupchopped dried fruits
  8. 2 tbsp rose water
  9. 1 big mango cut into cubes
  10. 2 tbspdates (khajur)
  11. 1/2 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder
  12. 1 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the ghee in a deep pan, add the vermicelli and cook till it turns golden brown and the sugar and milk and cook till the sugar dissolves.

    Add the dry fruits and raisins, mix well and allow it to simmer for 3 to 4 min.
    Add fresh dates, charoli, cardamom powder and rose water and simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes. If the sheer korma is too thick, add a little hot water and mix gently.

    Remove from the flame and garnish with some more dry fruits and mango cubes and serve hot or cold garnished with cardamom powder.
