Ingredients

  1. 100 gmsdeeseeded date’s
  2. Water little bit to mix masala
  3. 1/2 teaspoonmustard seed
  4. 1/2 teaspoonhing
  5. 1/2 teaspoonchilli powder
  6. 1/3 teaspoonturmeric powder
  7. 3chopped green chilli
  8. Curry leaves handful
  9. 1/2 teaspoonVinegar
  10. Hing little bit
  11. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    First immerse the dates with enough water and microwave on high for 5 mins. Deeseed the dates now. Alternatively you can pressure cook for one whistle and deseed the dates. Make a paste out of it with the dates water.

    Mix in chilli powder turmeric powder salt vinegar and hing with little water to avoid burning.

    Now add mustard green chilli and curry leaves and sauté it for one min.

    Now add hing to it and mix well.

    Add grated ginger mix well till raw smell goes.

    Now add the masala water and let it boil for a min.

  7. 7

    Once it boils for a min add the date paste and it’s water if any remains. Cook till it becomes thick. Serve with roti rice or even bread.
