Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cup Rice
  2. 1 cup-Mix Dal(tooar, chana, urad)
  3. 1/2 cuptomato
  4. 1 onion
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  7. 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  8. 1 tbspTurmeric Powder
  9. 1 tbspCumin seed
  10. 1 tbspMustard seed
  11. 2 tbsp Tamarind Paste
  12. 3 tsp Oil
  13. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash dal and boil the dal.

    In a pan heat the oil, add mustard seed, cumin seed, and onion. Fry till golden brown.

    Now add chopped tomato, mix well

  4. 4

    Now add all spices. Mix well.

  5. 5

    As all spices cook, add dal

  6. 6

    Mix it well. Cook for 5-6 min.

  7. 7

    Add tamarind paste mix well,. Dal is ready.

  8. 8

    Wash the rice, and cook it in a pan.

  9. 9

    After 10 - 15 min, rice is cooked, remove in a sieve. Now rice is also ready.

    Now dal rice are ready to eat.
