Ingredients

5 servings
  1. For gravy:
  2. 3 tbspcashews
  3. 1 tbsppoppy seeds
  4. 1 tspmagajtari seeds
  5. 5-6garlic cloves
  6. 2green chillies
  7. 2big sized onions chopped
  8. 2big sized tomatoes chopped
  9. 1"piece of ginger
  10. For tempering:
  11. 2 tbspoil
  12. 2 tbspghee
  13. 1 tspmustard seeds
  14. 1 tspcumin seeds
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 2small pieces of cinnamon sticks
  17. Dry masalas:
  18. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  19. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  20. 1&1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  21. 1/2 tsproasted cumin seeds powder
  22. 1 tspcoriander and cumin seeds powder
  23. For the making the sabji:
  24. 1/2 cupfresh peas
  25. 200 gpaneer
  26. 3 tbspfresh cream (have used malai from the milk)
  27. Water as required
  28. to tasteSalt
  29. Other ingredients:
  30. Small piece of coal
  31. 1small steel cup
  32. 2 tspghee

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

  2. 2

    Add all the ingredients of tempering in it.

  3. 3

    Make smooth paste of all the ingredients for gravy.

  4. 4

    Add the paste to the pan and cook till the oil separates out.

  5. 5

    Now add all the dry masalas and salt to it.

  6. 6

    Add the peas and paneer and cook till peas are cooked properly.

  7. 7

    Now take a small bowl put the coal heated till it becomes very hot. On this coal add ghee and close the pan for 5 mins.

    Your sabji just like restaurant is ready to serve!
