Ingredients

2-4 Persons
  1. 2 bunchesPalak
  2. 125 gmsPaneer- (cut into cubes)
  3. -50 gmsGreen peas (matar)
  4. 1/2 cupWater- for blanching
  5. 2Onion
  6. 3Tomatoes
  7. 1 inchGinger
  8. 8-10Garlic- cloves
  9. 1 small pieceNutmeg(Jaiful)-
  10. 1 small pieceMace(Javitri)
  11. 1Clove
  12. 2 tspGrated dry coconut-
  13. 1Cinnamon stick small
  14. 1 tspCumin seeds-
  15. 4-5Black pepper corns-
  16. pinch Turmeric powder
  17. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder-
  18. 1 tspDhania powder-
  19. 1/2 tspGaram masala-1/2
  20. 1 tbspOil/ghee- for tempering
  21. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly wash & roughly tear palak leaves.Blanch it in little less water.After blanching strain the water and use it for blanching green peas.Afterwards strain the remaining water & keep it aside for putting it in masala further.

    Now grind onion with garlic cumin seeds nutmeg mace black pepper corns dry grated coconut & cinnamon stick.

    Put a wok on gas stove heat oil or ghee whatever you like and pour that onion masala into it fry the masala till the oil separates at the edges.

    Further grind tomatoes along with ginger and pour thee puree into the fried onion masala.Mix well. Now sprinkle all dry masala so over it & add salt too.Give it a nice mix.Fry it till oil separates pour the remaining water after blacking It may be around 1/2 tbsp.

    Here the masala is ready.Now grind the blanched palak don't add any water while grinding.

    Pour that ground palak along with blanched green peas & paneer cubes into the masala.Give it add mix.Cover & simmer it for 5 minutes.Put it in serving dish & garnish it with fried red chillies.Relish hot with roti or parathas.😊
