Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 bowl gobindobhog rice
  2. 1 1/2 bowl dhuli moong dal
  3. as neededwater
  4. to taste salt
  5. as neededveg oil
  6. 1 tbspghee
  7. 1 tspturmeric powder
  8. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1 tspcumin seeds
  10. 1 inchginger
  11. 1 1/2 tbspdry roasted cumin and coriander powder
  12. 1 tspmasala powder
  13. 4green chilli chopped
  14. 3-4cardamom
  15. to tastered chilli
  16. as neededbay leaves
  17. as neededcinnamon
  18. 3-4cloves

Cooking Instructions

    First take a bowl with adding rice and dal wash with the water put fresh water and rest for twenty minutes

    Next remove water from the bowl keep aside

    Now take a pressure cooker with adding mustard oil add crushed ginger add jeera when cracking add rice and dal next add termaric powder add red chilli powder mix well keep stirring add dhania -jeera powder mix well add green chilli

    Now add garam masala powder mix well add tomatoes for Mix well

    Now add salt, milk powder mix well now add water as needed now cover with the lid give one whistle keep up to pressure is going naturally keep it in the large bowl

    Now last stage___ take another pan with adding ghee cardamom, bay leaves,red chilli,cinnamon,cloves mix with khichdi

    Yummy healthy khichdi is ready
