Preheat the oven to 350F.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta.

Cook 1 min less than the package directions.

Use a colander to drain the pasta well.

Drizzle oil to prevent the pasta from becoming sticky.

Mix in shredded cheese. Divide 200g of cheese for the sauce→

and 100 g for the layer.

In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat.

Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add milk while whisking to dissolve the flour.

Make sure there aren't any lumps of flour.

Add remaining milk/garlic powder/onion powder/nutmeg.

Bring it to a boil. Cook and stir until sauce thickens.

Remove from the heat, and season with salt and pepper.

Stir in 1/2 of shredded cheese, stirring until it melts.

Stir in rest of the shredded cheese. Stir until melted.

Stir in the cooked pasta until combined with the sauce.

NOTE: Grease the baking dish with avocado oil or butter.

Pour 1/2 of the pasta mixture into an oven-safe baking dish.

Put 100 g of shredded cheese over the pasta mixture.

Then top that with the remaining pasta mixture.

In a small bowl, combine panko/oil/cheese/paprika.

Sprinkle over the mac and cheese.

Bake for 20-25 mins or until top is light golden. Serve.
コツ・ポイント
Combine the panko with oil for a crispier result after baking. If you want to make it richer, use melted butter.
