Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgboiled red meat
  2. 6 clovesgarlic
  3. Ginger
  4. 2 tablespoontomato paste
  5. 1 teaspoonsalt
  6. 2 teaspoonpilau masala
  7. 1big onion
  8. 2and 1/2 cups of rice
  9. 5 cupswater
  10. Tumeric

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut the onion in rings into a sufuria cook until it turns golden brown

  2. 2

    Add the meat fry until it turns colour completely and its smelling like nyama choma

  3. 3

    Add the garlic, tumeric, ginger and tomato paste stir until all is mixed up

  4. 4

    Add the rice after washing to the mixture

  5. 5

    Add salt then stir

  6. 6

    Add water that is boiled and hot into the sufuria

  7. 7

    Once its starts boiling reduce heat, cover and let it cook with the lowest heat

  8. 8

    Once cooked serve with kachumbari or how you would wish to serve.
