Easy soft mandazi

Perfect as a snack, breakfast or dinner😉

Ingredients

30 minutes
28pieces
  1. 2 cupsexe mandazi flour
  2. 3 tablespoonssugar
  3. 1 cupwarm milk
  4. 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
  5. 2 tablespoonssalted margarine
  6. 2 tablespoonsmala(optional)
  7. Frying vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Melt your margarine in the milk until milk is warm to touch

  2. 2

    Add in sugar and mala then combine

  3. 3

    Slowly add in the milk and margarine mixture and mix

  4. 4

    Knead the dough for 10 minutes until pliable

  5. 5

    Leave to rest covered for about 20 minutes

  6. 6

    Make balls(mine yielded 7pieces)

  7. 7

    Flour your surface and roll out,then cut into quarters

  8. 8

    Heat your oil and fry until brown on each side

  9. 9

    Serve warm with beverage of choice
