Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies Crunchy Nuts Almond Snowball Cookies
I love snowball cookies with almonds inside, and so the amount of almonds I added to the cookie gradually escalated. I finally reached a point where the almonds wouldn't fit anymore. The slight sweetness of the powdered sugar and almonds tastes delicious. There are a lot of almonds mixed in so the dough is prone to crumbling while shaping. Squeeze the dough tightly with your fingers. The salt content of the butter differs depending on the brand, so whenever you use salted butter, and also when you think the almonds taste too salty, wipe off the salt with a kitchen towel. Another name for this dish is boule de neige. It is a simple recipe but ideal for a nice present. I've always been interested in this flavor but couldn't find the right combination of ingredients until this recipe.Almond flour makes the texture crisp and light. If you over-knead, the almond flour will release oil and become a sticky dough. This cookie is not so sweet, so if you want a sweeter taste then add 10g more sugar. Recipe by Kototama cookpad.japan -
