Simple, Elegant Onion Steak Sauce

I stumbled upon this flavor by mixing together some seasonings while relying on my intuition!
Since this is pretty easy, I don't have any hints in particular.
Just be careful not to injure your fingers when grating the onion and garlic. Recipe by mm00gg

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Grate the onion. Try to include the tiny, leftover portion that's hard to grate as well. Mince it and add it to the bowl with the rest of the grated onion.
- 2
Also grate the garlic.
- 3
Add the ◆ ingredients to a frying pan and bring to a boil. Add the grated onion and garlic, and heat.
- 4
And it's finished Use as a topping for the meat of your choice.
- 5
After cooking your meat, add this sauce to the frying pan without washing it. It'll mix in with the remaining juices from the meat, which will increase its deliciousness.
- 6
By the way, if grating the onion and garlic is too much work, you can use a food processor to do both at the same time.

Basic Onion Steak Sauce ^^ Basic Onion Steak Sauce ^^
I had cubed steak at a friend's restaurant, and I couldn't forget the taste of the sauce. So, through trial and error, comparing it to the original, I came up with my own version! As long as you remember the ratio of 2:1:1 for the soy sauce, sake, and mirin, respectively, you could make this in small amounts or adjust the amount of onion to taste. The garlic is optional. If you let the sauce cool and sit overnight in the refrigerator, the onions will lose some of their sharpness ♪ Recipe by RIE5839 cookpad.japan -

I recreated the sauce that I used to cook when I worked at a restaurant. The good thing about this is that you can make this with what you would already have at home. The key is in reducing the sauce. You could also mince the garlic, but it would hold its shape even if you cook it through, giving the sauce a rougher texture. Recipe by Silvy1978 cookpad.japan -
