Simmered Flounder Made in a Frying Pan Simmered Flounder Made in a Frying Pan
My mother told me that I had to use a large saucepan when making simmered dishes, but I had trouble when cooking fish, because I couldn't turn it over easily. I thought it would be better in a frying pan, after all, a frying pan is large and wide and the fish won't burn. I tried it and it worked fine. Now, I always make fish dishes in the frying pan.It can be tricky to turn the fish over, so I used a spatula. It's easier if you use the edges of the pan to help you. The fish won't burn in a non-stick frying pan, so even beginners will find this easy. The fish will crumble if you leave the heat on high, so be careful. Recipe by cleam cookpad.japan -
Deep-Fried Flounder Deep-Fried Flounder
You often see this dish at an izakaya (Japanese gastropub), but I made this recipe to make it at home. You can eat the scales after deep-frying the fillets, but if you don't like the texture, shave the scales with a knife first. By adding a little sugar, it makes the ponzu taste better and not so sour. The fins and frills will be brown and crispy, and you can eat everything apart from the backbone. Fried Fish Fried Fish
This tasty fried fish recipe is made with a basic combination of flour and seasonings, but don't be fooled by the simplicity of this dish—the fillets fry up crispy and delicious. Haddock and cod are two excellent choices for fried fish, but tilapia, pollock, or another mild white fish should work fine. Be careful not to overcook the thin fillets or burn the crispy coating. Gratin Made in a Frying Pan Gratin Made in a Frying Pan
It's a lot of trouble to make white sauce for gratin dishes! But if you make it in a frying pan along with the other ingredients, it's easy ♪- Basic bechamel (white) sauce is made with flour, butter and milk in a 1:1:10 ratio. Change the amount of milk depending on what you're making.- If using a non-stick pan, the gratin won't burn and will come off the pan easily with a rubber spatula. I really recommend using one!- Adding milk before the mixture starts boiling will cause lumps. Recipe by Hatawakana cookpad.japan
