Traditional, popular and delicious crispy savoury hot snacks from Maharashtrian cuisine Kanda bhaji.
Kanda Bhaji means Onion pakora/ fritters/in Marathi.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel and chopped onions into long thin slices in mixing bowl.
- 2
Add red chilli powder and salt to sliced onions. Mix well and keep covered for 10-15 mins.
- 3
Add & mix little little besan to onion chilli mixture to make semi thick pakora batter.(Don't used water, as water will be released by spicy onion,salty mixture)

Heat oil in frying pan. Take little little prepared onion besan batter drop in hot oil. Deep fry pakoras few at a time on medium flame till crispy golden brown.

Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Kanda Bhaji with garlic chutney.
