Super Simple Salmon
I was hungry and made up a recipe on the spot amd loved it
Cooking Instructions
- 1
IF FROZEN par-boil/ add olive oil to pan to cover the whole pan about .5 cm deep
- 2
Add in your garlic and onion along with your salt and pepper, with a squeeze of lemon and and herns you would like to add in including oregano
- 3
When the pan heats up and you can smell the garlic cooking (you haveseasoned your pan) so its time to add your salmon to the pan
- 4
Keep and eye on itand flip it every so often making sure it will not burn
- 5
Now its time to add in your white wine when your salmon is about half way cooked
- 6
Add in any ingredients as needed while cooking
- 7
The salmon shouldn't take to long to cook so depending on how cooked you want it you can leave it in for longer but I uusually wait like 1 minute on each side from when it is fully cooked through
- 8
A tip on a way check if it is cooked is to break of a piece and see how cooked it is in the middle
- 9
To serve I like to add tabasco (hot sauce) pver top but that is optional as well. Serve on a plate alone to one side with kale and a fancy cut lemon slice and drizzle the oild from the pan over in a zig zagmotion over the whole plate (chefs tip before serving add water to your plate while empty and place in oven until evaporated to make it warm before plating up)

Summer Salmon Summer Salmon
At the market, the tomatoes are starting to look pretty good, so I picked up a few. I was in the mood for salmon and got a small tail-end fillet chunk. The salmon set me thinking that dill might work with tomatoes. I'm not sure why I thought to brown the butter, but it makes sense in hindsight. There was an element missing, so I found some Greek yogurt in the fridge and added dill, but it was lacking. Tried salt and pepper. There was a definite improvement, but not quite there. A touch of horseradish sealed the deal. It made sense to use the, "tomato story," bowl I got at Daiso, a Japanese dollar store near my house. Pretty satisfied with the results overall. I'd put it on a menu. Ryan Goodwin -
