Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmoong dhal yellow split
  2. 1 cuprice
  3. Handfulcurry leaves
  4. 1/2 teaspoonjeera
  5. 2 teaspoonghee
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. Ginger half inch grated
  8. Pepper 1/2 teaspoon powder
  9. 2 teaspoontamarind pulp
  10. 1 teaspoonSambhar powder

Cooking Instructions

    Pressure cook rice and dhal for 5 whistles keep aside. Take a kadai add oil jeera hing pepper curry leaves ginger then add cooked dhal with rice to it now add salt and mix well lastly add tamarind pulp with sambhar powder and simmer for two mins and serve with pickle and curds.
