Ingredients

  1. 200 gOmena
  2. 2big tomatoes
  3. 1big onion
  4. 100 mlcoconut cream
  5. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Pick leaves and stones from your dried omena

  2. 2

    Run cold water in your omena

  3. 3

    Put in lukewarm water

  4. 4

    Remove omena, pour the water

  5. 5

    Wash again in warm water

  6. 6

    Sweat your onions in cooking oil

  7. 7

    Add tomatoes and salt

  8. 8

    When done add your omena

  9. 9

    Simmer in low heat

  10. 10

    Stir

  11. 11

    Simmer for about 15 minutes in low heat to prevent burning

  12. 12

    Add your coconut cream

  13. 13

    Serve with hot ugali and vegetables of choice
