We do these soft mandazis for breakfast or 4 o'clock tea/porridge just as an appetizer for real meal to come....

Ingredients

20 servings
  1. 1 kgall purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. Deep frying Cooking oil
  4. 2 tbspmargarine
  5. 4eggs
  6. 1 cupwarm milk
  7. 2 tbspbaking powder
  8. 1 pinchyellow food color
  9. 1

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, margarine, eggs, and food color together

  2. 2

    Thoroughly mix the ingredients to get this texture

  3. 3

    Add hot cooking oil like 1/2 cup and knead, then add warm milk bit by bit to get an in between soft to hard consistency

  4. 4

    Cover the dough to rest for 15minutes and roll into a 1cm thick round shape

  5. 5

    Cut into desired shapes

  6. 6

    Deep fry

  7. 7

    Serve with favourite beverage
