Ingredients

  1. 1 kgself raising flour
  2. 1 teaspooncardamon powder
  3. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon
  4. 200 gsugar
  5. 250 gmargarine
  6. 500 mlsour milk or plain milk
  7. 100 mlwater

Cooking Instructions

    Sieve all the dry ingredients together to remove air and any unwanted particles

  2. 2

    Add in the margarine and rub in gently until all lumps have crushed completely

  3. 3

    Add in the sour milk slowly by slowly and start kneading,keep kneading until the flour and the sour milk have mix completely...

    In case the dough is still hard..add some little water to soften it

  5. 5

    Put the dough in a bowl cover it and let it rest overnight

  6. 6

    Next morning,knead the dough to degas it

    Put oil in a deep pot to heat up

  8. 8

    As the oil is heating up....spreed out the dough n cut it to the desired shapes.

    Once the oil is hot..put in the cuts,keep turning so that they can cook and brown evenly

    Avoid covering them so that they don't become soggy

  11. 11

    Serve with your preferred beverage.I love mine with tea
