Combine the first 5 ingredients together.
Divide the butter into small pieces about eight and rub into the flour mixture

Beat the eggs into ½ cup of milk until well combined.
Make a well in the flour and pour in the egg mixture
Use a fork to mix and add in the rest of the milk. Dough will be sticky

Knead dough until soft and no longer sticky, cover and let rest for about 30 minutes
Roll roll out the dough onto a floured surface, about ¼ inch thick. Not too thin.
Cut into desired sizes

Heat oil, test for bubbles with end of wooden spoon.
Add the dough pieces in, avoid overcrowding.
Spoon hot oil on the mandazis to help them rise if they are not.
Fry till golden brown
