Deep fried arrow roots #mycreativearrowrootrecipe#

My mum comes from the central part of kenya where they have very delicious nduma. She would boil them and we would take them with tea for breakfast. I twisted the recipe to fit my own taste by deep frying them. This way you can serve it as a starch in a main meal or have them for breakfast.

Deep Fried Fresh Young Corn Deep Fried Fresh Young Corn
Since I didn't want to waste too many of this valuable short-season vegetable, I deep fried them in the corn silk. While deep frying, a heavenly aroma wafted up from the pan.Since the corn silk is not coated in the mixture, they will have a soft texture. Since they burn easily, deep fry over a low heat. I recommend serving them right out of the pan. Recipe by kebeibiko cookpad.japan -

Foolproof Deep-Fried Sardine (Mackerel) Foolproof Deep-Fried Sardine (Mackerel)
I failed at filleting the sardines. It would have just fallen apart if I tried to simmer them, so I tried deep frying them. Aside from just looking good, the flavor really soaks in, and it's got a nice coating. All in all it was pretty delicious. The more serrated the cut edges of the fish are, the more the edges will rise up dynamically when frying. Recipe by Masapandayan. cookpad.japan -
Basic Breaded Deep Fried Oysters Basic Breaded Deep Fried Oysters
This is a family favorite that I've been making for a long time. You can enjoy it with a tartare sauce-like mixture of mayonnaise (3 tablespoons) + grainy mustard (1 to 2 teaspoons). In Step 1, if the odor of the oysters bothers you, soak them in milk for a while after rinsing them in water. In Step 2, put the cake flour in a plastic bag and coat the oysters in the flour. Shake off any excess flour. Also in Step 2, use fresh panko for plump, soft fried oysters. In Step 3, if you fry the oysters for too long, they will shrink. Just fry them briefly. So, Stanley Tucci is to blame for this one. We’ve been watching his show “Searching for Italy”, and the one about Rome left us with a MAJOR hankering for the deep fried artichokes known in Italy as Carciofi alla Giudea (artichokes in the Jewish style) Surprisingly easy to make, they are just amazing!
