Ingredients

  1. 1 cupflour
  2. 1/2 teaspooncinnamon powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/2 teaspooncumin powder
  5. 4 tablespoonoil
  6. 1beetroot

    Peel and cut beetroot into small sizes

    Add chopped beetroot in a blender and add half cup of water

  4. 4

    Make smooth puree out of it and keep aside

  5. 5

    In a bowl add 1 cup of flour, half teaspoon of salt, half teaspoon of cumin,half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and 4 tablespoon of oil

    Mix well, make sure all the spices are combined well

    Add prepared puree and 4 tablespoon of water

  8. 8

    Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and soft

  9. 9

    Cover and allow to rest for 30 minutes

    Dust with flour and knead again for 5 minutes

    Divide into 9 or 10 portions

    Take one portion dip into flour and roll

  13. 13

    Heat pan on a medium heat once hot place ur rolled chapati and cook for a minute you will notice few bubbles on top

    Flip and cook the other side for a minute

    Serve with pepper soup or you can stuff veggie and make a roll
