Homemade White Bread Rolls Homemade White Bread Rolls
Since bread starters needs to be used up within 1 - 2 weeks, I thought it best to make bread directly from liquid yeast, which lasts for a while.Unlike dry yeast, the time needed for rising varies greatly depending on the strength of the starter.I recommend yogurt or strawberry yeast, which are both strong. Butter Sugar Bread, Muffin Pan Bread, homemade bread Butter Sugar Bread, Muffin Pan Bread, homemade bread
Butter Sugar Bread! It's topped with sugar and butter and baked. Candied Lemon is mixed in the bread dough, so it smells good lemon. I used the stand mixer (KitchenAid 35QT) to knead the dough and used muffin pans to bake. It tastes good! I would appreciate it if you could try this butter sugar bread. Fumie's Recipe -
Whole wheat honey zuccini bread (with huckleberries or bananas) Whole wheat honey zuccini bread (with huckleberries or bananas)
This bread is good and good for you. I use white wheat which I find to be much yummier then the normal wheat flour which is red wheat. Mix and match the additional fruit item or leave it out all together. I am a sugar skimper but know if it is not sweet enough only I will eat it. Therefore I add less sweet to start and then add more to taste after it is mixed. Heather Heward -
Perfect Pita Bread Perfect Pita Bread
This is a small batch recipe for 3 medium pita breads. The secret to getting them to puff up into pockets is a super hot oven (at least 260°C/500°F). I recommend sticking to white flour for this because it seems whole wheat flours don't do a good job of rising well (which means no pocket!).Great for falafel, or any kind of sandwich fillings you like.
