Instant Pot Beef Stew Instant Pot Beef Stew
Mina loves beef stew in the winter because it makes her think of her native chorba. I love Mina all the time because she is the love of my life. This is the simplest version of an instant pot beef stew I could come up with. Honestly the hominy is the only “interesting” part. But this dish isn’t trying to be interesting. It is trying to be warm, filling, and easy to cook.¡Buen Provecho!SK Scott Kane -

Autumn Stew Autumn Stew
It's the time of year when the garden is pretty much finished, veg odds and ends are in the fridge and the end of last year's venison needs to come out of the freezer. (Hunting season has started; it's a sacred time of year around here!) This stew is an homage to early November. NOTE: You can use beef if you prefer. You can also use fresh stew meat and sear it to go into the recipe--and use the vegs and fruits, fresh or dried, that are available to you. AntoniAAT -
Pork Stew Pork Stew
This is like a lamb stew, made more econimcally with inexpensive cubed pork shoulder (a better substitute than beef, in my opinion). If you can't find cubed pork shoulder, you can cut up pork tenderloin or pork butt. Of course, you can use lamb or beef if you've got it, or if you don't eat pork. harlequinn823 -
California Farm Pork Onion Bean Mushroom Stew California Farm Pork Onion Bean Mushroom Stew
This farm dinner is inspired by delicious tender fresh pork shoulder, usually four lbs. of super lean meat after the bone and fat have been removed, stewed with onions, white beans, and mushrooms. I cut this recipe in half, even if you are cooking only for yourself, it still makes five dinners, but you can freeze this stew, it gets better when frozen and reheated. Hobby Horseman -

Crockpot beef stew my way. Crockpot beef stew my way.
Decided dinner was going to be whatever I cooked in the crockpot tonite, so I rummaged around the pantry and fridge. This is the first time I ever added diced tomato or kidney beans to a beef stew. WOW! I surprised myself with how well it came out and tasted. lokiclv -
