Cooking Instructions
- 1
Firstly wash and blend your tomatoes & pepper then cut your onion in two half’s put one half in the blender and dice the other half, then pour in a pot to cook more like to drain the water out of your tomatoes purée....
- 2
Next when the water is all dried up you add your groundnut oil, tomatoes paste and fry(avoid the tomatoes purée from burning so you could use same pot but if it did you then have to change the pot) add your diced onion and if you have diced spring onion you add them now fry for sometime and add your meat stock water(try not to over add from avoiding the stew from getting really watery)taste and add more ingredients if you are not ok with the taste of the stock water....
- 3
Taste and add more ingredients if you are not ok with the taste of the stock water, also add your onga, paprika, sweet pepper, hot pepper etc then cover and cook for 5mins...then add your fried fish (I usually add my meat and fry before adding my meat stock) and cook for additional 3mins and your sweet, thick, red, tomatoes stew is ready 🤗😋😋

I had pork filet that I bought on sale, so I made this. Usually I make 'filet cutlets,' but it's delicious simmered as I did this time. I'm thinking of using it in a curry flavored stew next time.Coat the filets with flour and pan fry until crispy and golden brown. Use the fat that comes out of the meat to cook it. Make sure to drain excess oil and fat with paper towels after the meat is pan fried. For 4 servings. Recipe by Koba cookpad.japan -

Chicken & Tomato Stew from Vegetable Soup Chicken & Tomato Stew from Vegetable Soup
I made this recipe variation after I got a craving for tomatoes. I got the idea of making this soup after someone made a soup from a stew we had the night before whilst I was travelling.I'm using breast meat, but thigh meat is much juicier. If you want to make this recipe a bit healthier, then omit the flour. The vegetables in this soup have already been blended so if you want to give your stew a bit of texture, feel free to add any vegetables you find in your freezer. If the aroma isn't too strong for you, feel free to keep the garlic in. Recipe by Garumeri cookpad.japan
