Excellent recipe to use for decorating cupcakes. I have made many variations but I like these jaffa cupcakes the Best!

I searched high and low for a decent thumbprint recipe... some had milk, some had orange juice... I just wanted something basic. My first batch turned out too flat but after tweaking, this recipe turned out much better. Going to try making them next time with sugar instead of brown sugar to give it a more shortbread like taste.

Really yummy perfect for piping and icing.

I baked this cookies for my kids during Christmas holiday for them to play.My kids love the taste even my 15 months baby.The ginger doesn't too strong, so if you like stronger ginger taste, you can add more ground ginger.

Its a recipe I have been making every Christmas since I turned 16. Thats 30 years. It can be made by hand you just have to let the Butter soften before blending in the Sugar and Brandy
