Lagana (Greek Bread) Lagana (Greek Bread)
Monday was our Clean Monday or Ash Monday, and is the day we usually bake the Greek Bread “Lagana”. I am sure you have seen other photos of Lagana from other Food Bloggers that look gorgeous 🙂 (Great Work fellow bloggers!!) mine doesn’t look like much, I know, but it does taste very good. 🙂Now, you might be wondering why my bread isn’t oval shaped, well like I have mentioned before my kitchen is quite small and I have very limited counter space. 🙂 (I don’t mind though I do my best with what I have). 🙂 So, I used a baking pan that I have and just used my fingers to push it out into a oval shape. This bread is so thin that you can actually use it to dip into the delicious dips you enjoy eating, or you can spread your dip onto the Lagana. 🙂 or even make delicious thin sandwiches….:) Foodzesty -

German bread German bread
I moved to the US from Germany and figured out the easiest way to get good bread is doing it on my own.You also can use just whole wheat flour or put in for example pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds or onions. This is just a simple and fast ground mix, vary it as you like.Once it is done let it rest for ten minutes then cut a few slices and add butter and a little bit salt ;-)You also can toast it the next day and do sandwiches.Don't put it in a plastic bag, just cover it so it doesn't dry out completely till you ate it all.My grandma used to do bread soup with the dry leftovers, for this best cut it in slices and let it dry...FloJeep

Wheat Bread Wheat Bread
My Mother-in-law has made Wheat Bread almost every week for the last 30 years. She has pretty much prefected it over the years. On my last visit I asked her to teach me . Below is the result. If you have a wheat grinder, she uses half Red and half White Wheat to make the flour. Kip Kugler -

Non-Dairy Honey Wheat bread Non-Dairy Honey Wheat bread
This makes a slightly sweet bread, but I think it balances well as sandwich bread with mayo anddeli meat. I use Soy products due to a Diary allergy. But I have found that there is actually nothingI am missing out on, because so far, I have been able to replicate it great without using any dairy. honeybee3dad -
Whole Wheat Pizza Dough in a Bread Machine Whole Wheat Pizza Dough in a Bread Machine
I wanted use up the last of my whole wheat flour. If your oven isn't that strong, bake between 180 - 200°C. If you don't have whole wheat flour, use bread flour. It's good to divide the dough into 3 portions if you prefer thin crusts. Recipe by Anpinku cookpad.japan -

Whole Wheat Flour and Olive Oil Square Bread (One Loaf) Whole Wheat Flour and Olive Oil Square Bread (One Loaf)
I made this with healthy oil and whole wheat flour, along with walnuts. This tastes great, even without butter. The soft dough is sticky and bit hard to handle and mold, but it remains really soft even the next day!I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.I added in the walnuts directly this time, but it is even more delicious if you roast them a bit before baking. The dough is a bit sticky, so please sprinkle with flour when it gets difficult to handle. Please adjust the baking time and temperature according to your household oven.Or you could just bake it in the bread maker.
