Cooking Instructions

Note: The darker or more pure the cocoa powder is, the more bitter it becomes (think dark versus milk chocolate). Similarly, traditional maple syrup used for pancakes versus pure maple syrup will be sweeter due to the ingredients. Keep this in mind when making your oatmeal. **Both of these options pictured aren’t as sweet, so I add 2 heaping tablespoons of vanilla yogurt! :)

Stir all of the oat ingredients together until well blended. Place in an airtight container or jars. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until thickened. (Coconut added for texture out of preference!)
- 3
Stir well before serving with banana slices, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and/or any of your other favorite toppings!

Here is another overnight oats recipe. I didn't really talk about overnight oats in my previous post cos I was explaining why I am uploading my brunch recipes on this website. Anyway, one of the things I love fondly about being vegan (I was a vegan) is overnight oats. I literally came up with loads of concoctions for my overnight oats; red velvet cheesecake, triple chocolate, etc etc.Although they are vegan and plant based, but they are not really healthy. Which is one of the many reasons why I stopped being a vegan. These are a couple of overnight oats recipes which, in my perspective, are healthy, vegan and plant-based. Anyway, I really hope you will give this recipe a try. What I adore about these overnight oats is you can prepare them the night before bed, get them on the go during next morning rush. Daniel Lim -

I have recently started incorporating more oatmeal into our diets. It is cheap, easy, & versatile. Overnight oats are so quick & simple and also it is really nice when breakfast is already made in the morning! I had granola clusters that I wasnt sure what to do with and decided to turn it into oatmeal breakfast. 😁 This recipe can be made with any granola or oats you have available & can also easily be made vegan with vegan milk & yogurt! Makes 2 Pint & 5 Half-Pint jars. Chef Mommy Nessa -

This recipe is a great way to infuse your overnight oats with a wonderful, all natural strawberry flavor... much better than those packs of artificially flavored instant oats. It's different (and in my opinion much tastier) than just topping your oatmeal with fresh berries. Christina -

Overnight Oats Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are, of course, a healthy breakfast and they re easy to make, but they also feel like a special treat, sweet with dried fruit. Unlike oatmeal, uncooked but softened oats retain a fresh flavor and taste delicious cold. Top it with nuts just before eating for an irresistible crunch against the creamy oats.#GlobalApron Ricardo
