Ingredients

  1. Semovita
  2. 2 tbsbutter
  3. Pinchsalt
  4. Water
  5. For the soup
  6. 2 cupsbeans
  7. Beef
  8. Garlic and ginger
  9. Palm oil
  10. Scotch bonnet
  11. Onion
  12. cubesMaggie

Cooking Instructions

    Put water on fire,add little potash,butter and bring to a boil

  2. 2

    Pour in the semovita while stirring with a wooden spatula until you get the right consistency,reduce the flame and sprinkle some water,simmer for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.

    Soak beans for at least an hour,peel the back and wash very well,remove any dirt and put in a pot

  4. 4

    Wash meat and add to the beans,put enough water and boil until both are cooked,the beans will be over cooked

  5. 5

    Add more water and cook very well,add palm oil, the blended scotch bonnet,onion,ginger and garlic paste,stir very well,remove the pot cover and allow it to continue cooking

  6. 6

    Add in the maggie cubes,stir and allow to cook for 5 minutes and its done,but it should not be too thick.
