  1. 200 gmPaneer cubes
  2. 1/2 Cupgreen peas
  3. 1medium size chopped onion
  4. 2medium size chopped tomato
  5. 2chopped green chilli
  6. 1 inchchopped ginger
  7. 2-3chopped garlic pods
  8. 3-4 tablespoonsoil
  9. 1/2 tablespoonsalt
  10. 2bay leaves
  11. 1 inchcinnamon
  12. 1/2 tablespooncumin seeds
  13. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  14. 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  15. 1/2 tablespoongaram masala
  16. 2 tablespoonchopped fresh coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    First of all,take a grinder add chopped onion,green chilli,garlic and ginger.grind it.make a little bit coarsely paste.

    Now transfer chopped into ginder's jar.grind it make it smooth paste.

    Heat a pan or kadai.Add 2tablespoons of oil.once oil will be heated add paneer cubes.swallow fry it for 2-3 minutes until becomes light golden.

    Take it out paneer in to a plate.same pan(kadai) add 2 tablepoons of oil.once oil will be heated.add 1/2tablespoon cumin seeds(jeera) let it crackle it.now add 2 bay leaves and cinnamon.saute it for a minute

    Now add onion-ginger-chilli and garlic paste.saute it for 2-3 minutes.then add 1/2 tablespoon salt,1/2 tablespoon turmeric,1 tablespoon coriander powder,1/2 tablepoon garam masala and 1 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder.mix it well.saute for 1 minutes.

    Now add tomato puree (paste).mix it. cook it for 2minutes.add paneer to the gravy.mix it.

    After that add 1/2 cup frozen or fresh green peas.Add 1 cup (250ml) water.mix it.

    Cover it and cook it for 3-4 minutes.After 2 -3 mintes take out the lid & Add 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves.mix it.our delicious matar paneer is ready to serve.
