Ingredients

2 hours
  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1 tspyeast
  4. 1/2 cupwarm milk
  5. 1egg
  6. Flavor
  7. 2 tbsbutter

Cooking Instructions

    To proof your yeast,add the yeast into the warm milk,whisk and cover for 5 minutes,after five minutes,it will form bubbles

    In a bowl,sieve flour,add sugar and butter and mix thoroughly

  3. 3

    Break the egg and whisk

  4. 4

    Add the proofed yeast to the flour and mix,add the egg and flavor to,mix until you get a smooth dough, cover to rise for an hour

  5. 5

    After an hour it will double in size,roll the dough on a flat surface and make round shapes using a round cutter, sprinkle some flour on a tray and arrange the doughnuts,leave to rise for another 30 minutes

    After 30 minutes,heat oil in a pan and fry on medium heat until golden brown

  7. 7

    Drain excess oil

  8. 8

    You can use any filling or glaze of choice
