Fateera with hotdog filling

Fateera- is similar to the east-African chapati. Can be eaten with soup, as a side dish or better still used for chicken/beef wraps, also a good substitute for flat bread or in my case fried with various fillings( minced beef/chicken, sausage, veggies, cheese and the likes)

Fried Beef Sausage with Potato Pancakes Fried Beef Sausage with Potato Pancakes
YUMMO!! Usually use a fry pan for both of these, but decided to try the deep dish bake pan from the Foreman Evolve System. Worked great. Had a bowl - which was used to make the potatoes in and to mix ingredients, the deep dish pan, a plate and utensils......cant ask for easier clean up. I did use beef sausage, as I really don't do pork. Add what you like to it, onions, garlic, chives, cheese, etc. Sheila Calnan -

For bentos on field day, karaage deep-fried chicken is a must have, but I prepared these deep-fried tenders instead. It's great finger food for children. The protein-rich tenders are well seasoned with curry powder. It's very easy to make these! Season the chicken with sake so even after they've cooled, and they'll still be tender! Home Made Chinese Egg Noodles 🍝 Home Made Chinese Egg Noodles 🍝
#navratri2019You don’t realize how amazing a dish is with the extra homemade factor until you try it.So easy !!!You don’t need a pasta machine. All you need are three ingredients -Eggs, flour, and salt. And a rolling pin. Anyone can make these. This recipe is very forgiving. Egg noodles are not like pie crust or pastry dough where you have to be cautious with how much you handle the dough. You can’t over-mix them. If you feel like the dough is too “dry” you could add a little splash of water. If you feel like it’s too sticky, add another sprinkle of flour. You really can’t mess them up.I’ve found that allowing the dough to rest for Half an hour before rolling it out, and again after rolling it, makes it easier to work with and keeps the noodles from “shrinking” as you cut it.Resting is optional, but I’d recommend it. Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a light towel or soft cloth while it rests.Let's cook 😊. Bengali Spice 💚 -
